OPR is Looking for a Mission Designer

One Page Rules is looking to hire one or more Mission Designers. This is a part time freelance position. Our hope is to find someone that can easily fit into this role, and maybe one day expand into additional game design work at OPR. The position would be responsible for producing around 10 missions each month across all of our games, including Age of Fantasy: Quest and Grimdark Future: Star Quest, but not including Grimdark Future: Warfleets. Note that typically it takes 30-60 minutes to write a mission depending on the skill level, so this is the perfect job to spend a few hours on during the weekend, for example.

Interested candidates should apply by participating in our upcoming week long OPR Mission Jam running from July 7th, at 8PM UK time / 3PM ET time, to July 13th, at 8PM UK time / 3PM ET time. Details of the mission jam can be found below.

The Ideal Candidate:

Have native-level English writing skills.
Has Microsoft Word and is comfortable and proficient using it.
Have love and a strong understanding of OPR's games.
Can work independently and deliver quality work on a consistent deadline.

We are asking that interested candidates apply for the position by participating in our upcoming Mission Jam and making sure to add [JOB APPLICATION] to the title of your submission so we know who to contact about this position. This is a 7-day mission writing marathon, running from July 7th, at 8PM UK time / 3PM ET time, to July 13th, at 8PM UK time / 3PM ET time, focused on designing one-page missions to be played with OPR games. The submissions will then be voted on by the participants and the public.

Note: The mission writers retain the rights to their own missions that are submitted to the OPR Mission Jam, and they won't become part of OPR's catalogue of missions unless specifically agreed between the creators and OPR after the jam.
