Vampiric Undead Unveiled: Meet Gremyir and Milyazha
The Vampirc Undead Faction Book will be launching later this month, and with it will come four new Narrative Hero units! But as you can see in this week's preview, four units doens't mean only four heroes! Gremyir and Milyazha fight together as a special two-for-one hero unit in your Age of Fantasy games. Learn about how this brutal duo came together below as well as a preview of how they'll play on the battlefield!

Gremyir Azetovoz and Lady Milyazha Imruskoza
Gremyir had fought as a Human under Sevrig I during the Havoc Wars, leading his tribe of Volshoboz (Forest people) in ambushes and raids. He had become an expert in irregular warfare, and the Havoc Warriors had nicknamed him the Night Hunter, having learned to fear his nocturnal harassment. When the Curse turned him into a Werewolf, Gremyir naturally became the Champion of a pack composed of other former forest peoples.
Lady Imruskoza, Marchioness of Telen Valley, was only twelve years old when the Curse turned her into a Vampire. Her father and brothers had been slain at the battle of the Red Road and she had inherited the family title. She quickly earned a reputation for fierceness and impulsiveness that some attribute to forever being a teenager, while others point out that her father had always been similarly quick-tempered.
As neighbours with a shared penchant for bestial violence, the young Lady and the Werewolves became fast friends, spending time together hunting wild beasts in the deep forest. Their bond became even deeper when they teamed up to defeat an invading Ogre force during the battle of Telen Valley.
For his role in leading the battle, Gremyir Azetovoz gained much prestige. Despite having sustained severe losses against a much more numerous enemy, his pack soon grew larger than before as other Werewolves joined him. Even the haughtiest nobles, who had despised the Volshoboz as primitive woodsmen for centuries, granted him a begrudging respect.
Lady Imruskoza still remains in her castle to this day. She rarely entertains any visitors, and is said to only have a handful of Skeleton Guards as servants. Her friendship with Gremyir, who has become a valued general of the Vampire King, is ever enduring. They like to hunt together, and she has granted his pack free use of Telen Valley as a reward for his services.
Each of them are fearsome warriors in their own right, but become positively terrifying when they team up. They enjoy infiltrating enemy lines and using their mastery of hunting tactics to surprise their foes, often using the Lady’s childish appearance to draw them into a trap.
A Nasty Surprise on the Battlefield

In battle, Gremyir & Milyazha team up as brutal Ambush attackers who also deny their opponent's Ambush reinforcements with Warning Cry. Gremyir's Scythes of Zhenye dish out a brutal flurry of six AP(2) melee attacks, backed up by two additional Poison attacks from Milyazha's Telen Hunting Dagger. Milyazha also has a once per battle surprise for foes just out of range: her Telen Throwing Dagger.
